Hi guys,
today it was the first day from our tour through the Colca Canyon. And the first time for me going on such high – almost 5000 meters above the sea level. Until now everything is going fine. Maybe its because of the Coca tea and the helpfull tips from our guide – however I am happy about it.
I am thrilled by the beauty of the Andes and the bright colours! We had a gorgeous sunny weather today during our six kilometers walk in Yanque. So our last stop on that short route were the hot springs in the nearby area. It was an excelent end of a long day.
And as I have to get up before six o’clock tomorrow morning this is going to be a short post. We have to be very early at the Cruz del Condor and I hope to see some of these beautifull creatures.
The night we are spending at about 3400 Meters in the Killawasi Lodge http://www.killawasilodge.com/ – a pretty hotel with very friendly staff.
